New Belgium - Voodoo Ranger - IPA - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Voodoo Ranger IPA is a classic American IPA. In other words, it is bitter, aromatic compared to regular beers, and slightly higher in alcohol content. Unlike the other beers in this series, it doesn't have any noticeable distinguishing characteristic, and I also don't understand why it was produced exactly.
There's nothing wrong with the beer, but it falls flat for this ambitious series.

Bent Paddle Brewing - Bent Hop - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Bent Paddle, a craft brewery founded by two couples in Duluth, Minnesota in 2013.
Bent Hop is Bent Paddle's classic IPA. It has a good consistency and the head is just right. You can detect more pine aromas in its smell and taste rather than citrus. The bitterness is on the higher side, proving that it is an American IPA.
Overall, it was a nice beer.

Sierra Nevada - Torpedo Extra IPA - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Torpedo Extra IPA is a classic American IPA, hoppy and high in alcohol content, some might even consider it a double IPA. Cold hops are used in its production, complementing its taste and aroma. Maybe it could have seemed different 10-15 years ago, but now many brewers are able to achieve these flavors. Of course, it is still enjoyable.

Sierra Nevada - Powder Day IPA - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada was established in 1979 and is one of America's first craft breweries. It still ranks in the top 10 in terms of production.
Powder Day is a seasonal beer released between January and March. It is double-dry hopped, meaning twice the amount of hops are added after fermentation.
These hops give the beer beautiful and intense citrus and tropical fruit aromas, which are commonly associated with IPAs.
When drinking it, you don't really feel the high alcohol content. The flavors are not overly sharp, but well-balanced. It is a classic American IPA with an extra aromatic profile.

Summit Brewing - Slugfest Juicy IPA - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Summit, one of the first craft brewers in Minnesota, was established in 1986. Although still recognized as a craft brewery today, it has a rather large production.
Slugfest is a beer that was released in 2019. It is relatively low in alcohol and unfiltered compared to regular IPAs. However, its bitterness and aroma are quite satisfying.

Fair State Brewing Co-op - Big Doinks - American IPA (Ale/USA)

A cooperative beer from Minnesota. A producer with a 9-year history. They have around 30 beer varieties, including experimental beers.
Big Doinks is a beer that is quite hoppy, they even try to resemble its smell to cannabis with the hops they use. "Dank" is actually a term that describes this. They added a lot of hops to this beer when it's cold, but you can't find those flavors in its taste. They made reference to West Coast IPAs while brewing this beer, but its bitterness and flavors are not high.

Boatswain - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Boatswain is a brand of the famous Trader Joe's chain of markets in America. Their Hazy IPA was not bad. I was hopeful about this American IPA because the producer had changed, but I was wrong. What I drank is not an IPA, not even an American IPA, it's like it's not even a beer. The intense taste of molasses makes it undrinkable. Very bad.

Shipyard Brewing - American IPA (Ale/USA)

The new beers from @craftbeerlab have arrived at @gurmecarrefoursa. The first one I tried was Shipyard American IPA.
Although American craft beers don't often make it to Turkey, the American IPA label on this beer caught my attention. The bottle also seemed more like an English beer than an American one. However, it does have the label "Portland, Maine USA" on it. Regardless, I started drinking the beer without examining the label too closely. One thing that caught my attention when I poured the beer into the glass was that it had very little head. In American IPAs, the beer usually has more and a more persistent head. Of course, when you taste it, you understand that it is more like an English IPA than an American one.
Once again, the problem here was with expectations and disappointment. If I had drunk it as an English IPA, I probably would have enjoyed it, but this beer was labeled as an American IPA. In fact, it is an English IPA made for English beer lovers, maybe just a little more hoppy than usual.
But on such a beautiful day, of course, I still enjoyed this beer.

3 Kafadar - American - American IPA (Ale/Turkey)

3 Kafadar's second hop-heavy beer after Mosaic, an American IPA.
I like the beers produced by 3 Kafadar. Each one is a unique offering that isn't typically found on the market, and they truly deliver on their promise.
The Hoppy Pale Ale turned out to be very nice as well. It's on par with American IPAs, but I think it would have been better if the alcohol content was around 6%.

Brewdog - Elvis Juice - American IPA (Ale/Scotland)

A grapefruit-infused IPA. Besides the citrus flavors and bitterness given by the Elvis Juice IPA, there is also the taste and slight bitterness of grapefruit. However, when you taste both these different bitterness levels, you can distinguish them.
In my opinion, it is a very nice beer. The most beautiful and qualitative Brewdog I have ever tasted.

Brewdog - Jack Hammer - American IPA (Ale/Scotland)

Ruthless IPA (Acımasız IPA), as the name suggests from BrewDog, is one of their potent IPAs. It offers fruity aromas and has a pleasant bitterness. Frankly, I really liked it. Again, for those who want to taste a high alcohol and bitter IPA which is rarely found in Turkey, this could be the unique choice.
I also got this beer from Moda Tekel.

Zıkkımm - Amerikan IPA (Ale/Turkey)

I really liked the dark beers produced by Zıkkım. This time, when I saw their IPAs, I eagerly bought them to try. I was expecting a highly aromatic and hoppy beer, especially because it said American IPA on the bottle. Unfortunately, Zıkkım IPA did not meet my expectations.
The amount of hops in the beer was quite low, I can even say that I hardly noticed it. The aroma was also weak. But the worst part was the taste of unfermented malt that I got. This taste is the same as the smell I get before the beer is fully fermented when I make my own beer. I think there is a production problem. As I said, brewing beer, especially bottling and delivering it to the consumers, is a difficult task. I think Zıkkım should reconsider their IPAs.

Pablo - Amerikan IPA (Ale/Turkey)

The new bottle of Pablo American IPA. Being accustomed to American IPAs and considering it's a very popular beer variety in America, I am quite picky and a bit biased when it comes to IPAs. This beer is very nice among American IPAs. It's one of the few IPAs in Turkey that truly delivers for those seeking the hop flavor and IPA fans.
I have also added the picture of its old bottle to the series.
You can find it at Mensis Mahzen and Metro. Price: 18TL

Gara Guzu - 4C IPA - American IPA (Ale/Turkey)

The other IPA that does justice to Gara Guzu, 4C IPA. One of the best IPAs produced in Turkey.
It takes its name from the 4 different hops starting with the letter C, Columbus, Chinook, Centennial, and Cascade.
It has a nice aroma. I got a slightly dizzy taste with the first sip. As you drink, you can almost separately feel the taste and aroma of the hops that have been added. The alcohol content is also at the right level. I was a bit disappointed with the Summer IPA, but this IPA is quite good.
