Sierra Nevada - Little Thing - Big IPA - Imperial IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada, founded in 1979, is one of America's first craft breweries.
From the "Little Thing" series, "Big Little Thing IPA" is probably the highest alcohol beer in the series.
Big IPA is a sweet beer with a malt character. It doesn't have as much of the characteristics you would find in a Double or Hazy IPA. I would say its bitterness is at the level of a Pale Ale. However, don't let that deceive you, it is a balanced and delicious beer with hints of mango and grapefruit flavors.

Sierra Nevada - Little Thing - Tropical - Hazy IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada, founded in 1979, is one of America's first craft breweries. It still ranks in the top 10 in production.
Another beer from Sierra Nevada's Little Thing IPA series, Tropical Little Thing IPA, is a Hazy IPA.
The name Tropical Little Thing IPA is quite ambitious, but its taste is not quite up to that ambition. Firstly, it is not a full-bodied beer, rather quite watery, and this leaves you feeling a bit unsatisfied after the first sip. In terms of aroma, it is not bad, but it does not deliver the full tropical fruit flavors as much as it should. It wasn't a bad beer, but compared to other Hazy IPAs, it falls a bit behind.

Sierra Nevada - Little Thing - Wild - Fruited Kettle Sour Ale (USA)

Sierra Nevada, founded in 1979, is one of America's first craft brewers. It still ranks among the top 10 in production.
Unlike the other beers I have previously tried from the "Little Thing" series, Wild Little Thing is a sour beer. It is not completely sour, but the taste will definitely come off as sour to you. When I drank it, it reminded me of a sugar-free fruit juice. It contains guava, strawberry, and hibiscus flowers.
Wild Little Thing is produced using the "kettle souring" method. In normal brewing, the mash is directly fermented, but in this method, it is first fermented like yogurt, and then this mixture is added to the regular mash at a 10% amount.
It was nice to try this beer with its unique taste. I recommend you give it a try.

Sierra Nevada - Summerfest - Pilsener (Lager/USA)

We're returning from Oktoberfest to Summerfest.
Summer is over, but I still have a few summer beers left and I want to drink them before the weather gets colder. The first one is Summerfest from Sierra Nevada.
Sierra Nevada is one of America's first craft breweries, established in 1979.
If I had to describe Summerfest in two words, they would be bright and crisp. These might not convey much in Turkish, so let me explain. Bright, because you feel refreshed when you drink it; crisp, because it has the sharpness you get from a cold beer. It has low malt character and a mild bitterness.
A great beer for summer.

Sierra Nevada - Oktoberfest - Märzen (Lager/USA)

Sierra Nevada was founded in 1979 and is one of the first craft breweries in America. It is still among the top 10 producers.
Among the ones I have tried, this Märzen was the best so far. It is a well-balanced beer in terms of taste. The malt or caramel flavor is not overpowering, it is easy to drink with a moderate bitterness, and the texture is satisfying. Despite its high alcohol content, it does not give that feeling and can be easily consumed one after another. It is an ideal Oktoberfest beer.

Sierra Nevada - Atomic Torpedo - Imperial IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada is one of the first and largest craft breweries in America.
Atomic Torpedo can be considered a larger version of Sierra Nevada Torpedo. They have elevated this beer from a double IPA to an Imperial, with the only difference being a higher alcohol content. Atomic Torpedo is a full-bodied beer, and you can feel that it is less liquid when poured into a glass. The head has good retention and the color is close to amber. Despite having a significant amount of hops, the beer's bitterness is not too strong, as its IBU remains at 50. Therefore, in my opinion, although it is generally good, it doesn't deliver the expected taste of a Double or Imperial IPA. You can strongly sense the malt flavors in the beer, and the moderate bitterness suppresses the sweetness. It's a nice beer, but it doesn't meet expectations.

Sierra Nevada - Little Thing - Hazy IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada is one of the first craft brewers in America. This beer is from their "Little Thing" series. This beer is Sierra Nevada's year-round released Hazy IPA, which is a hazy IPA. They keep the beer hazy to preserve the fruity flavors and also make the perceived bitterness low. With this beer, along with citrus aromas, I also detected a taste of lemon. The bitterness is moderate. It is a very nice beer.

Sierra Nevada - Little Thing - Juicy IPA - Hazy IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada, one of America's first craft brewers. This beer is from the "Little Thing" series and was only released between January and April of this year.
There is currently a Hazy IPA craze in America. It seems like everyone is releasing Hazy IPAs one after another to offer a new taste to beer lovers who are tired of IPAs. Juicy Little Thing is a good beer, but it is not as aromatic and flavorful as some other Hazy IPAs I have tried. It is a smoother beer, with exotic fruit flavors that are not overpowering. The alcohol is also well-balanced and not overpowering. While it might feel a bit light for a Hazy IPA to me, I think many people would enjoy this beer.

Sierra Nevada - Torpedo Extra IPA - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Torpedo Extra IPA is a classic American IPA, hoppy and high in alcohol content, some might even consider it a double IPA. Cold hops are used in its production, complementing its taste and aroma. Maybe it could have seemed different 10-15 years ago, but now many brewers are able to achieve these flavors. Of course, it is still enjoyable.

Sierra Nevada - Powder Day IPA - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada was established in 1979 and is one of America's first craft breweries. It still ranks in the top 10 in terms of production.
Powder Day is a seasonal beer released between January and March. It is double-dry hopped, meaning twice the amount of hops are added after fermentation.
These hops give the beer beautiful and intense citrus and tropical fruit aromas, which are commonly associated with IPAs.
When drinking it, you don't really feel the high alcohol content. The flavors are not overly sharp, but well-balanced. It is a classic American IPA with an extra aromatic profile.
