Drive Thru Red - Red Ale (USA)

Trader Joe's, an American grocery store chain, has another beer called Drive Thru Red. It's a red ale with added cold hops. It's quite dense but has little head. The taste is a classic red ale, slightly toasted and sweet. Overall, it's a good beer, slightly more alcoholic than a classic red ale. It's quite good for its price.

Totenhopfen Brauhaus - Mahut - Red Ale (Luxembourg)

I thought I had tried all of the beers from Totehhopfen, but I was wrong. There was one left at the bottom of the fridge. I broke the order, but let me add it here as well.
It's the famous Red Ale from Totehhopfen. However, Totehhopfen disappointed me once again. The can labels give me the feeling of tasting a new generation of beers, but the ones I tasted seem bland to me. This beer was the same. It has a British red ale vibe to it. In my opinion, if they made the labels more classic, the expectations and the content would be more harmonious.
While expecting stronger and more flavorful beers, I am getting soft flavors in the style of British Fuller's. Of course, there are people who like it, but just like in wine, the label is very important in creating expectations in beer as well.

Torch - Red Ale (Turkey)

This is a real Red Ale. Full-bodied and with the expected bitterness in taste. However, I can say that there is not enough head, it doesn't affect the taste but a bit more foam would make the beer more enjoyable.
I was expecting good beers from Torch, and it's going as expected.
With this beer, I have had a few Red Ales produced in Turkey that I can compare. I would like to taste and evaluate them all together.

Brewdog - 5am Saint - Red Ale (Scotland)

I'm going to be a bit harsh again. This Brewdog was one of the worst beers I've ever had. Before even taking a sip, I smelled a hint of seaweed. I checked the expiration date to see if the beer might have gone bad, but it's good until March 2021. Then I wondered if the bottle had been kept in the sun or heat and spoiled, but even if that were the case, I would still give my interpretation based on how the beer tasted.
When American Red Ale is mentioned, I roughly know what kind of beer I'll be tasting. This beer I had doesn't resemble any Red Ales I've had before. I couldn't detect any aroma or taste. Unfortunately, it was a beer that I wished would just end.
I didn't come across any comparisons to a seaweed smell in online reviews. Some mentioned that the taste was a bit weak, but they weren't overly complaining about it. If I happen to come across a fresh one at a Brewdog Pub, I'll give it another try.

Efes - Bomonti Filtresiz Red Ale - Red Ale (Turkey)

Bomonti's Red Ale is another option for those looking for a different taste. It's not an aromatic or full-bodied beer but it's easy to drink. In my opinion, it's more suitable for the winter months. It's even better than the English beers available in Turkey.

Feliz Kulpa - Smyrn'ale - Red Ale (Turkey)

Smyrn'ale Feliz Kulpa became one of my favorite beers. It's a true Red Ale. Its color and foam are nice, and the flavor was also satisfying. I would like to compare it by drinking it alongside another beer I like, Zıkkım Red Ale.

Zıkkımm - Red Ale (Turkey)

This is the best Red Ale I've had in Turkey so far. It has a very full body, the color is spot on, the taste is on point. Zıkkım generally focuses on dark beers and is filling this gap in Turkey. I would recommend it to all beer lovers.

Trokya - Mars - Red Ale (Turkey)

A true Red Ale. It is a very nice beer with a malt taste, color, head, and bitterness. I also really liked the graphic on the label. Ale lovers should definitely give it a try.
The color of the beer is specified in EBC (European Brewery Convention) and its bitterness in IBU (International Bitterness Unit).
