Boatswain - Double IPA (Ale/USA)

Boatswain is the beer brand of the famous Trader Joe's supermarket chain in America, and this is the third variety I've tried.
Unfortunately, this beer was also very bad. The taste of molasses is dominant again and there is a lack of bitterness and aromas characteristic of an IPA. Its color is again the darkness of amber. In other words, there is nothing reminiscent of a Double IPA in this beer. I had made beer from low-quality kits in Turkey, and it tasted similar to this, maybe mine was even better. The alcohol content is supposedly high, but with that much molasses taste, I doubt the sugars they added have converted to alcohol, meaning the actual alcohol content might not even be what is stated on the can. With great disappointment, we close the book on Boatswain beers.

Boatswain - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Boatswain is a brand of the famous Trader Joe's chain of markets in America. Their Hazy IPA was not bad. I was hopeful about this American IPA because the producer had changed, but I was wrong. What I drank is not an IPA, not even an American IPA, it's like it's not even a beer. The intense taste of molasses makes it undrinkable. Very bad.

Boatswain - Hazy IPA (Ale/USA)

This beer has been produced for Trader Joe's, a famous American supermarket chain.
I had tried this beer before and I didn't really like it, but this time I had a different experience.
Hazy IPA is a slightly sweet IPA with a mild bitterness. It is quite delicious and not as challenging as an American IPA with its flavorful and aromatic character. In fact, in this form, it resembles more of a New England IPA.
I later realized the reason for the change in the taste of the beer. Since it is the store's own brand, they can have it produced wherever they want without changing the brand and label. This beer's producer has changed from "Minhas Brewery" to "Rhinelander Brewing," and there has been a change in location as well.
