Sierra Nevada - Little Thing - Big IPA - Imperial IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada, founded in 1979, is one of America's first craft breweries.
From the "Little Thing" series, "Big Little Thing IPA" is probably the highest alcohol beer in the series.
Big IPA is a sweet beer with a malt character. It doesn't have as much of the characteristics you would find in a Double or Hazy IPA. I would say its bitterness is at the level of a Pale Ale. However, don't let that deceive you, it is a balanced and delicious beer with hints of mango and grapefruit flavors.

New Belgium - Voodoo Ranger - Imperial IPA (Ale/USA)

New Belgium is one of the largest craft beer producers in America. VooDoo Ranger is a series created for the new generation of IPAs. It is made using different, experimental malts and hops.
Imperial IPAs have more malt and hops compared to regular IPAs. This Imperial IPA is quite malty. The sweetness of the malt suppresses the bitterness of the hops. Although it is not as malty as Lagunitas Maximus, the sweetness is still quite prominent. However, you don't really notice the high alcohol content of this beer, so it is quite successful in that aspect.
The one I drank was a 568ml can, and when you finish the can, you feel a bit affected by it.

Sierra Nevada - Atomic Torpedo - Imperial IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada is one of the first and largest craft breweries in America.
Atomic Torpedo can be considered a larger version of Sierra Nevada Torpedo. They have elevated this beer from a double IPA to an Imperial, with the only difference being a higher alcohol content. Atomic Torpedo is a full-bodied beer, and you can feel that it is less liquid when poured into a glass. The head has good retention and the color is close to amber. Despite having a significant amount of hops, the beer's bitterness is not too strong, as its IBU remains at 50. Therefore, in my opinion, although it is generally good, it doesn't deliver the expected taste of a Double or Imperial IPA. You can strongly sense the malt flavors in the beer, and the moderate bitterness suppresses the sweetness. It's a nice beer, but it doesn't meet expectations.

Totenhopfen Brauhaus - Triple Kveik IPA - Imperial IPA (Ale/Luxembourg)

The latest beer in the Totenhopfen series. My expectations for this beer were high, but I can't say I found what I was hoping for. It's a high-alcohol content, triple IPA beer, which means it's used much more hops than usual. For an IPA, it has very little bitterness, especially for a Triple IPA. It does have aromas, but they are solely focused on apricot and grapefruit, I didn't find much richness. The lack of head also didn't help me enjoy it. It's drinkable, but not a beer that meets the expectations.

Brewdog - Hardcore IPA - Imperial IPA (Ale/Scotland)

Because beer had passed its expiration date (STT 20/8/2017), I'm not sure about the real taste of the beer. Instead of the IPA bitterness, I tasted a sweeter flavor, and the alcohol content didn't feel like it was over %9, and the carbonation was gone.
I can't say much about the beer, but its bottle looks like this :)
