Bent Paddle Brewing - Cosmic Lounge - Hazy IPA (Ale/USA)

Minnesota's Bent Paddle's standard Hazy IPA, Cosmic Lounge.
I've had the opportunity to try a variety of hazy and NE IPAs, which are quite trendy lately. The common feature of these beers is that they provide fruit flavor profiles instead of hop bitterness.
Cosmic Lounge manifests a bit too much bitterness for a hazy IPA, and the fruit flavors are not where they should be. Of course, the brewers can say that this is our interpretation, but when it comes to hazy IPAs, the expectations are a bit different.
It's not a bad beer as an IPA, but it falls below the standards set for hazy IPAs.

Bent Paddle Brewing - Cold Press Black - Black IPA (Ale/USA)

Bent Paddle, a craft brewery founded by two couples in Duluth, Minnesota in 2013. A beer flavored with Cold Press Black coffee. I'm not a fan of the taste because coffee usually overpowers the beer, but I still want to try some occasionally.
Although the coffee aroma in Cold Press does overpower the beer, it wasn't too bothersome. This beer has been brewed by Bent Paddle for 10 years, so it has proven itself in the market.
It may be a good beer with coffee flavor, but it still wouldn't be my preference.

Bent Paddle Brewing - Bent Hop - American IPA (Ale/USA)

Bent Paddle, a craft brewery founded by two couples in Duluth, Minnesota in 2013.
Bent Hop is Bent Paddle's classic IPA. It has a good consistency and the head is just right. You can detect more pine aromas in its smell and taste rather than citrus. The bitterness is on the higher side, proving that it is an American IPA.
Overall, it was a nice beer.

Bent Paddle Brewing - Black Ale - American Porter (Ale/USA)

Bent Paddle is a craft brewery founded by two couples in Duluth, Minnesota in 2013. Over the course of 10 years, they have produced over 150 different beers.
Black Ale is categorized as a porter/stout, but it is not like the English style beers you know. The American version has a slightly higher alcohol content and is sweeter. Despite having a dark color like a stout, the taste is smooth like a porter.
I really enjoyed this beer. It has a sweet, velvety aroma with hints of chocolate flavor.
