Sierra Nevada - Little Thing - Big IPA - Imperial IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada, founded in 1979, is one of America's first craft breweries.
From the "Little Thing" series, "Big Little Thing IPA" is probably the highest alcohol beer in the series.
Big IPA is a sweet beer with a malt character. It doesn't have as much of the characteristics you would find in a Double or Hazy IPA. I would say its bitterness is at the level of a Pale Ale. However, don't let that deceive you, it is a balanced and delicious beer with hints of mango and grapefruit flavors.

Sierra Nevada - Little Thing - Tropical - Hazy IPA (Ale/USA)

Sierra Nevada, founded in 1979, is one of America's first craft breweries. It still ranks in the top 10 in production.
Another beer from Sierra Nevada's Little Thing IPA series, Tropical Little Thing IPA, is a Hazy IPA.
The name Tropical Little Thing IPA is quite ambitious, but its taste is not quite up to that ambition. Firstly, it is not a full-bodied beer, rather quite watery, and this leaves you feeling a bit unsatisfied after the first sip. In terms of aroma, it is not bad, but it does not deliver the full tropical fruit flavors as much as it should. It wasn't a bad beer, but compared to other Hazy IPAs, it falls a bit behind.

Sierra Nevada - Little Thing - Wild - Fruited Kettle Sour Ale (USA)

Sierra Nevada, founded in 1979, is one of America's first craft brewers. It still ranks among the top 10 in production.
Unlike the other beers I have previously tried from the "Little Thing" series, Wild Little Thing is a sour beer. It is not completely sour, but the taste will definitely come off as sour to you. When I drank it, it reminded me of a sugar-free fruit juice. It contains guava, strawberry, and hibiscus flowers.
Wild Little Thing is produced using the "kettle souring" method. In normal brewing, the mash is directly fermented, but in this method, it is first fermented like yogurt, and then this mixture is added to the regular mash at a 10% amount.
It was nice to try this beer with its unique taste. I recommend you give it a try.

Toppling Goliath Brewing - Places I’ve Been - Double IPA (Ale/USA)

Toppling Goliath was founded in Iowa in 2009, and is a brewery with over 200 different beer varieties and numerous awards.
The seventh IPA I've tasted from Toppling Goliath is a collaboration beer called Places I've Been, made with Radiant Beer Co from California.
Places I've Been is a slightly more bitter beer compared to the others I've tried, meaning it is more fitting to the Double IPA style, with a stronger bitterness and less fruity aroma. Nevertheless, it is a beer where you will find a lot of aroma compared to many others. With the combination of bitterness, it gave me more of a grapefruit taste.

Toppling Goliath Brewing - Mozee - IPA (Ale/USA)

Another Hazy IPA in the disguise of an IPA from Toppling Goliath.
I have to evaluate Toppling's beers in the Hazy/NE IPA category, which they belong to, instead of the category written on their labels.
Mozee IPA is a very good beer, but I can say that I have had better Hazy IPAs. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very good beer, but having tried some excellent Hazy IPAs, I feel the need to make a distinction between them.
Mozee takes its name from the English word "mosey" (to walk aimlessly) spelled differently.
Mozee is a beer that contains flavors of grapefruit, kiwi, and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, with mango and pineapple aromas. Of course, when these flavors blend together, it gives you the sensation of a fruity cocktail.
Toppling Goliath continues to impress. I will try to find their beers other than IPA.

Toppling Goliath Brewing - Cage's Castles - Double IPA (Ale/USA)

We continue with our Toppling Goliath series from Iowa. Toppling Goliath IPA beers are very successful and they have many other IPA variations. Cage's Castles is another Double IPA they have made with different hop varieties. It contains Strata, Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Mosaic hops.
Cage's Castles takes its name from Nicholas Cage. As far as I understood, Nicholas Cage has castles. In the background picture, Cage's movies and the things he owns are depicted.
Toppling Goliath has once again created an amazing beer with Cage's Castles. Although it is called a Double IPA, it is more like a NEIPA (New England IPA). It has a certain level of bitterness, but tropical fruit and floral aromas are quite intense. With its high alcohol content, this half-liter can is enough to give you an intense happiness.

Toppling Goliath Brewing - This meeting could've been an email - Double IPA (Ale/USA)

A collaboration beer with a long name from Toppling Goliath Brewing Company, which is located in a town near the border of Iowa and Minnesota.
The name of the beer is a phrase that somewhat expresses disappointment in America. Toppling Goliath collaborated with Corporate Ladder Brewing to create this beer. The connection between the name of the beer and company culture originates from the name of the collaborating company.
"This meeting could've been an email" is an American Double IPA and carries the characteristics of an IPA as it should. It is brewed using Galaxy, Riwaka, and Citra hops. It is a bitter beer with light citrus and tropical fruit aromas. It is quite successful as a Double IPA.
