Kykao - Reverse Engineered Malagousia - Grape Ale (Greece)

Malagousia is a special Greek grape. It is a type that was rediscovered in the 1970s, and unique wines are made with this grape. Kykao has used the skins of Malagousia grapes in this beer, and fermentation has occurred with the bacteria found in the skin of these grapes. I couldn't tell if barley was used, but I think it was, and it turned into beer.
As the name suggests, Malagousia is an experimental beer, actually a wine hybrid.
It is a quite sour beer, you can compare its taste to lemonade. It may disappoint traditional beer lovers, but it has a different taste. However, you don't feel the high alcohol content that is almost like wine.

Alc (ABV): 12.4%
Score: 8/10
